Vehicle description
2001 Dodge Ram 3500 Laramie 4X4 by Western Hauler w/ the HO Diesel and 6 speed manual. .
I bought this truck about 3 years ago out of South Carolina as an extra truck. It had 198K miles at the time and it has about 210K now. The truck has a full Western Hauler conversion including the bed, fuel tank, rear cab wing, running boards, painted front bumper, Alcoa wheels, CB, etc. The conversion alone on this truck costs almost $24,000 (call them if you don"t believe me). I have since put new tires on the truck, batteries, new wheel bearings, rotors, brakes, steering stabilizer, steering box, tie rod ends, ball joints, power steering pump, shocks, and front U-joints, trac bar, steering box stabilizer, and ABS sensors (front and rear).
Western Hauler in Fort Worth, TX converted the truck when it was new and I sent it back to them to have it reconditioned 4 months ago. The front bumper, running boards, and bed all have been repainted and completely redone. The bed was sanded down and repainted, new spray on bed liner, new fuel tank and system (in 2011 Western Hauler moved to a lower profile tank that you can see over), new LED lights, polished fenders, new boat rails, mud flaps, weights, etc. I"m not telling what this all costed me in case my wife is reading this.
On the interior, I had all the normal wear items replaced including the driver seat bottom, center console cover, dash (new dash, not a cover). The interior of the truck is not perfect but well on its way. The outside however is about as good as you will find one. Some of the only things the truck still needs is the plastic driver side dash bezel (back ordered at the time), and the ABS light still comes on.
I have never pulled anything but a 14" bumper pull trailer with the truck since I"ve owned it. Its a good truck. Since moving to FL the truck does not get used anymore.
Feel free to call anytime with questions. The truck is located in Stuart, FL.
