| “PLEASE - ONLY bid if you are going to buy it. I purchased the car about 2 years from Texas. I have spent the last 2 years returning her to mechanical grace. The car is bone stock except for a chip tuning I had done at a race shop and the air intake the previous owner upgraded (i have the original air intake). I will list the repairs I have for receipts but I have over 8k in work since I purchased the car to make it a true road trip car. The biggest of the expenses is a new jasper transmission, once the transmission was out it was only right to replace the main seal and rebuild the rear-drive. The transmission has a 3 year or 99k mile warranty. The other work done was new hoses, tires, belts, plugs, wires, and radiator. The car drives perfectly. The paint is good, not great. This car is not for a collector this is a great car for a driver.” |

i am dropping the price again as this car is in need of some TLC.
Texas owned corvette C5 for sale. This car has been garage kept and is low rust. The car is bone stock except for a chip tuning I had done at a race shop and the previous owner updated the air intake. The car has always been worked on by a professional not a hobbiest and I have invested over 8K into my baby. The biggest of the expenses is a new jasper transmission, once the transmission was out it was only right to replace the main seal and rebuild the rear-drive. The transmission has a 3 year or 99k mile warranty. The other work done was new hoses, tires, belts, plugs, wires, and radiator. The car drives perfectly. The garage doesn"t have any stains or spills from anything leaking or dripping.
Pros: Literally over 8k in the car in just new parts professionally installed. The car drives straight as an arrow, does drip or leak any fluids.

This is a driver quality car not a showroom piece. She has been garage kept but on starting her up and taking a potential buyer on a ride i am notice many little things that need to be addressed. Typically, i would be excited to get the little things fixed so i could cruise on the weekends but lately i am just done with this car. See the list
Cons: Driver quality paint has small scratches and chips. The rear trunk and solid targa have been resprayed to match but a good eye can see the difference. Gas gauge needs fuel additive or it will not register (know issue for C5 and C6. just google). The radio has decided not to turn on. i just noticed that the power seat is not moving forward or backward. Tire Serv Mon came on - i think it is a tire with low air - uncle.
