Vehicle description
Dinan DME software, ZHP bumpers, wheels, trim inside and out. ZHP steering wheel, and Dinan exhaust. Factory nav installed but car was not originally equipped, Xenon headlights, newer style tail lights, customer sub-woofer box with sub and amp installed, Both factory Bluetooth for calls plus aftermarket system (Media Bridge) for also Bluetooth calls and streaming music. I have 2 of these cars so this out either has the Dinan sway bars or the Eibach’s……. cant recall which car has which. Bilstein upgraded struts, and a Dinan front strut brace. Coding for euro blinking hazards and remote for windows to roll up/down and sunroof to open and close. It needs tires soon, including spare. The nav doesn’t work as it started locking up recently but the radio works great. Everything else works and works well. Due to the nav locking up, it blocks the Bluetooth capabilities. I do have a couple of spare nav units which Ill give to the buyer. They don’t work either but don’t lock up from what I can remember. Seems like the nav voice doesn’t “speak” as I recall. They can be swapped out so Bluetooth works. It needs A, B and C pillar trims again. Those pillar trims falls every few years – typical BMW. The bodywork………. lines are not the best for the hood and the right front strut tower is not perfect but the alignment is good and it drives very nice, straight and tight. Very stiff and tight. Whoever repaired it didn’t care of much about the lines since they were reselling it……….and its never bothered me. Last thing I can think of is the trim around the gear shift wants to come up when you put it in park. Needs that trim. Fog lights cracked for the 3rd time in a row. It uses a quart of oil about every 4k miles which is normal for this engine. .and generally oil has been changed ever 5k. Last service was done by a tech here with one of my famous lists that never ends. 1year ago: oil service (done once since then and now due again as its changed very 5k), new sun visors, front brakes and rotors, machine rear rotors, differential bushings, coolant flush, brake flush, power steering flush, microfilter, engine air filter, 3rd brake light cover, fuel filter, expansion tank, strut mounts, rear control arms and alignment. That was all at184k. Before this and within the past say 20k miles new valve cover and gasket, plugs, coils, disa valve, heater valve and hoses, thermostat, water pump, radiator, power steering pump, AC compressor, Evaporator core, thrust arm bushings, struts, oil pan gasket, diff flush, driveshaft and center bearing………. transmission was rebuilt! I am sure there are lots of things I have forgotten but let me tell you this car is solid. I just don’t drive it anymore much as I have 6 cars. Also new battery within the past 2 years. It is a reliable car but has some miles and years on it. I have 2 of these, this one black and the other one blue which basically the same stuff has been done to them as they are “twins” so to speak. Sad to see it go but I have several cars now and just need to thin the herd. Please do not ask what the reserve is - Happy Bidding!
