Vehicle description
VR6 Engine, 4SP FWD Automatic, Seating capacity: 7, power windows, power steering, front and rear bucket seats (rear seats are removal), AC/Climate control (front and rear), heated seats, sunroof, AM/FM/Cassette, 360 degree snap-on curtains, table, pull-out sleeper bed.

I am the second owner of this superb Eurovan Weekender. We bought it in May 2017 with 37K miles on it. It had spent it"s life sitting in an airplane hangar so was either going to be the buy of the century or, well. . something else. I knew when we bought it that it had some exterior body damage (see pics) and needed a new head gasket. Vans are meant to be driven so not ideal that the van had sat. We replaced the head gasket and all fluid tubes and checked for leaks (the AC compressor tube had a leak). We had all the fluids flushed and replaced. We spent a good chunk of money getting the van in tip-top condition for a 4-month cross country trip. Repairs also included replacing the power window mechanism inside the drivers side door and replacing the driver-side tyre rod. All work was done by Art at Autopoint Motor in Richmond. He had also been the mechanic for the first owner so knows the van well. The engine light comes off and on intermittently but mostly stays on. Art thoroughly investigated this but was unable to find any fault. The gear display lighting is also faulty. Again, nothing can be detected through thorough diagnostics and inspection.
We departed at the end of June and at the end of July the reverse started slipping. Ran the diagnostics and obtained multiple opinions. Decided to not take any risks and had the transmission replaced at 43K miles. The van comes with the transferable warranty good for 3 years or 100K miles. Drove another 8K to complete the road trip and have to say the van is running great now (it should be since we effectively bought it twice).
This van was purchased always with the intention of selling it on after the road trip. We have enough vehicles.
The interior is pristine as you can see from the pics. This van has been very well cared for with only premium fuel and timely oil changes. A true pleasure to drive and great for camping. The VR6 tears up the mountain. Overall it"s a fun vehicle just hitting its prime. Hoping to find someone who will love and enjoy her as much as we have. Serious buyers and offers only.
