Up for your consideration is a 2000 Toyota Tundra 4x4 extended cab pickup. I"m listing this for my father in law because I have the e-bay account. The truck has 155000 miles and was purchased new in 2000 by the one and only owner. It has been, and would continue to be , a super reliable truck for the next owner. Here is what I know: the bad- rusty areas above the rear fender wells and rear bumper. (see pictures) scratches mostly down the sides of the bed and a small dent in the front passenger area above the headlight (again, see picture).NOW the Good- the very, very good & reliable 4.7L V8 engine that uses NO oil (research shows its a million mile engine with care). fairly low miles, at 21 years old. Solid cab- NO rattles. Drives as good as ever. Everything works as it should. If someone wants an outstanding work truck for a fraction of truck money, my own research shows a new rear bumper with hardware from amazon runs $300. When the day comes when you want a newer bed, UNLESS you put on black fender covers, ebay shows beds ranging from $500-$1000. (I"m sure many salvage yards would show similar results) An outstanding used truck, with fixable issues at a very good price. Run it for YEARS as is or address the cosmetics.
