Selling my 2000 Suzuki Esteem GL wagon that I bought from the original owner. Car only has 79,000 original miles on it and is driven daily about 70 miles. It has a clean MA title in my name and runs and drives great. This little Esteem wagon has the 1.8L engine with timing chain (rather than the 1.6L with belt). This is a very base car but a car you can jump in and drive every day! This Suzuki is made in Japan and is as reliable as a Toyota Corolla. All four tires have been replaced with new Firestone All Seasons within the last 1,000 miles. Oil just changed as well as spark plugs. It needs a few things. Left front control arm/ball joint will need replacement soon. The right front fender has some rust (see pictures). The rear bumper has some pain fade and scuffing. The rest of the car is in wonderful shape and holds a shine. It is a 17 year old car so there are scuffs and scratches and a few small dings. It has a new serpentine belt and idler pulley but there is still an occasional squeak that I suspect is from a little oil leaking onto belt from valve cover gasket leak. I have a new valve cover gasket kit that comes with the car for you to install (very easy job, just don"t have time!). The check engine light is on and off with a small evaporative emissions leak. Car is emissions exempt in Massachusetts due to the age. The suspension could probably use some updating for a perfect ride. Some knocks and clunks over bumps but it is 17 years old now. This car is a great daily driver that will probably run to 200,000 miles and beyond. These Esteem wagons are getting harder and harder to come by! Get your bids in now on this little gem.
