“Turn the key and go, low mileage car with a lot of new parts. Cold A/C and heat works great! I had a lot of stuff replaced and ended up not really driving it. No rust at all, no dents. Clean interior with no rips or damage, nothing missing. Good tires, brakes, new suspension, lot of new parts. Only oddball thing is that sometimes it makes a noise that sounds like a pulley or belt but doesn't affect drivability at all, CEL is on, and it needs one hatch strut. Nothing else that's crazy and no other lights on the dash. Clean title in hand, drive it home.” |

Vehicle description
2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT 81,6XX miles
3.0L V6, 5-Speed Stick with low miles and a lot of new parts. Currently inspected, stickers good until May of 2020. Overall a fun, good car that would make a nice project or daily driver as it is; minor issues that can be fixed without having to park it. A/C blows ice cold and heat works great, drive it home!
I bought this car a couple of years ago, had a lot of stuff replaced, and ended up not really driving it; I have too many cars so I hate to let this one just sit for no reason. I"ve put less than 2000 miles on the car since purchase, so everything I replaced is pretty much new still. Tires are in pretty good shape. New brakes all around, new KYB AGX struts, new RF CV axle, sway bar links, valve cover gaskets. Battery was replaced earlier this year. New alternator + pulley, water pump and timing belt kit, drive belts, tensioners, etc. I also put some white LEDs in the gauge cluster so you can actually read it in the dark. Also has the 2003-2005 style front bumper. Aside from some light scratches here and there, the body is straight with no dents or rust.
Occasionally, it makes a kind of squealing noise that sounds like it"s coming from a belt or tensioner, maybe a pulley that I didn"t replace. It only happens intermittently and doesn"t seem to impact the car while driving so take that for what you will, considering the more critical maintenance items were taken care of (water pump, timing, etc.) The hatch also needs a new strut; the nut that holds it in on the driver side fell into the body and I just never ended up replacing it (oops). One of the turn signals isn"t watertight so it fogs up. Check engine light is on, I pulled three codes: P0155, P0442, P0403. No drivability issues and parts are cheap, so nothing catastrophic there.
As far as aftermarket stuff goes, the engine is stock. The car is lowered on KYB AGX struts (all four new) and Tein springs. Has 17" Enkei RS5 wheels. Previous owner put some cold air intake on it, I don"t see any brand labels on it. Invidia cat-back exhaust. Mishimoto aluminum radiator, Mishimoto radiator hoses. The hood is carbon fiber with a vinyl wrap on it. Has some kind of short shifter and a Kenwood head unit. Overall nothing too crazy and nothing that couldn"t be returned to stock if necessary.
Clean title in hand. Car is being sold as it is, where it is. Buyer is responsible for pick-up, drive it away. Cash in hand only, vehicle must be paid for and picked up within 7 days of sale. Thanks!
