2000 SLK230 . Purchased 12/2015. We live in the country and 95% of the miles we put on this thing are highway miles. We like the car but need something bigger with a back seat. I have replaced the following parts: New tires (within 30 days) New mechanical and hydraulic linkage for the convertible roof New power steering pump, and all new fluid. New radiator New thermostat New coolant reservoir New belts and hoses New water pump New AMG grille New K40 relay New Battery New Crank Position Sensor New blower fan regulator. New transmission shift module New transmission conductor plate New transmission wire harness
As you can see, I put a ton of new parts in this car. I"ve done all the maintenance and been running synthetic fluid and just had the transmission serviced. It"s a good running, solid car and most of the common complaints have already been fixed, obviously. The roof works great. This is a low mileage car. I just changed the oil and serviced the transmission. I put a new air filter in as well. With any used car, there is minor wear and tear on the inside of this thing. The mileage will also vary as it"s daily driven during the week. The windows are tinted at 10%. More pictures available upon request. Thanks for looking. This is a Florida car.
