2000 Mercedes S500 - Lorinser Thanks for looking at our one of a kind Mercedes Benz. If you are looking for a clean, low mileage, documented Lorinser, then this may be the car for you. But, if you are just looking for a used car, then please keep looking. There are many used Mercedes for sale at half the price. This is not your average Mercedes S Class! This is a one of a kind, custom Mercedes that shows very well, with documentation. Most “S” class Mercedes are not heavily optioned, this truly is a one of a kind luxury car that was over $20,000 more expensive than the basic S500! In 2005, I wanted to purchase a replacement Mercedes for mother’s day for my mother. She had a 1992 500SEL Lorinser that had 95k miles. So my search started. I contacted a friend of mine who owns a high end car dealership in Redmond Washington. He found this one owner, S500 at Phil Smart Mercedes in Seattle. They had just put it on their lot as a “Mercedes Benz Certified Pre-Owned”. My friend got it, then sold it to me. This ended up being my mother’s last car, which she drove for three years before passing away. My father then drove the car for a couple years before it was put away into heated storage. The car would be started and driven every couple weeks to keep all the systems in working order. The car was serviced regularly due to time, not miles. We had a battery tender installed to make sure there was always a full charge when we were ready to drive, and a nice car cover. 88,000 two owner miles. Same owner since 2005. Heavily optioned S500, which include front and rear power seats, front and rear heated/vented seats, front massage seats, rear sun shade, front and rear park distance control, Bose am/fm/cass/cd changer with ten speakers, plus all standard Mercedes features. Full Lorinser package done in 2007 ($25,000 painted and installed): Front and rear bumper covers, driving lamps, front fenders (custom one off Lorinser part which was not available for this year), side sills, roof and trunk wings, exhaust system. Later that year we did the extended wood interior, four custom floor mats, pedals, and chrome 20” LM6 style wheels. Over $8000 spent on service in the last 10k miles to ensure a mechanically perfect Mercedes. Including transmission and oil service, brake flush, TP sensor replaced, alignment, Bose amp replaced, ball joints, upper and lower control arms, thrust rods, air shocks, compressor, relay, and air pump hose. All books, manuals, dealer literature, complete service history plus detailed history from 2005, original spare tire, tools, three sets of keys/remotes, and navigation discs. I would drive this car anywhere. There are normal scuffs, several small door dings, and scratches on the car due to age, but the car has never been involved in an accident. The car is located in Seattle, Washington. The car has a clean and clear Washington State title.
