BRAND NEW BUMBLEBEE BATTERY!
She"s lean, green, and gets over 50MPGs!
The original hybrid! I love this car but, unfortunately, she (Junebug) is no longer practical for me. She"s really great though with a fuel efficiency of a Prius with the fun of a 5 speed manual transmission. It"s pretty hard to find a manual hybrid - I know this from experience :-)
The good:
Runs great!
New Bumblebee hybrid battery professionally installed by Hybrid Haven of Petaluma
4 New(ish) tires - just over a year old - plenty of tread left
Amazing MPGs - over 70MPG on back country roads - closer to 50-55 with mixed driving
No transmission problems (manual Insights are known for synchro problems)
A/C, heat, radio, windows, locks, lights - all that stuff - working well
Have maintenance records from the previous owner and myself
Comes with owners manual
Comes with 2 keys (both will start the car) and 1 remote
Comes with Insight floormats
Title in hand
Registration good through December 2018
Known issues:
Cracked rear trans mount (but you can"t tell - it was discovered during a routine oil change)
Slight oil leak - she is pushing 20 so. . these things happen (also discovered during routine oil change)
Despite a clean Carfax report, I"m pretty sure the passenger side was in an accident at some point (see photos)
