Hello ebayers and welcome to the auction of our beloved GMC Savana that we have been travelling the USA in for the last few months. We bought the van in Texas and it had previously only had 2 owners from new. It is an official conversion van (an explorer) with lots of original papers from the manufacturer. These vans are difficult to get hold of due to the "ready to go" nature. It was still used as a people carrier when we bought it but we have kitted it out with lots of goodies and so it is now a totally self sufficient camper van. You can cook, charge your devices and live totally off grid! One of the many benefits of this van is that it"s very discreet which has enabled us to stay overnight for free in walmarts, city centres and other places that don"t allow campervans. It has so many perks and drives great, I will try to list everything below. A major plus point of this van is it has just had a full transmission rebuild that comes with a 3 year unlimited mile warranty. All paper work will be provided. If you are looking to go and explore the country, live the van life, camp in the wild or have an outdoor hobby this van will be perfect for you. Everything listed below is included. VAN WILL BE AVAILABLE TO COLLECT AFTER SEPTEMBER 5th What it comes with: • Bed with all bedding, sheets, comfortor and ginormous sleeping bag that we have open and is rated to -30 degrees. • All plates, cutlery, dishes, frying pan, pot, camp stove, mugs and glasses for two people • under bed storage boxes and plenty of room for clothes etc • tools to maintain the vehicle • interior fairy lights and a walnut finish, there is also ac in the back and speakers. So swanky. • an electric plug in cooler (via cigarette lighter plug) which doesn"t need ice! Also has a 110v plug for when you have a hook up. • a power inverter connected to the main battery to charge 110v devices while you drive • an annual national park pass valid til July 2018. We"ve used this to visit arches, Yellowstone. Zion, Bryce etc. • foldable solar panel and Yeti battery which can be charged using the solar panel and powers the cooler, phones, laptop etc. It"s basically an external leisure battery. • two bicycles with bike rack. • two fold out camp chairs with important beer holder section The above has cost us upwards of $1,500 and has been worth every penny. It"s all still as new in condition. About the GMC: • Automatic • cruise control, Ice cold AC, stereo (with a cassette that you can plug into any aux port including iPhones to play music), radio, CD Player, all creature comforts. • 5.7 V8 petrol engine • 220k miles (van is in use so this will rise) • a fully rebuilt transmission with a 3 year unlimited mile warranty • three owners from new (including us!), the year of the van is 2000 • sits 7 people with all the seats in and ready to go. The middle seats are easily removed and so we usually stack them to make room for living in the van. • sleeps two people comfortably in the back, the bed is around 5ft wide and 6ft long and super comfy. • it"s GOLD please note: there is a crack in the windshield. It"s not at eyeline and it hasn"t worsened since we bought the van so we haven"t had it replaced but it costs around $200 to do so. The bodywork is in generally really good condition, no rust This amazing van has done us proud so far and we will be sad (but proud) to see him go onto his next adventure.
