Vehicle description
2000 F350 Crew Cab DRW. This is a project that is well on its way but is still a basket case. Ebay didnt like the VIN, its 1FTWW33F3YEE49164 . The original cab was super rusted so the original owner swapped this cab from a 2006 F350 crew cab pickup. That is the VIN I entered to get Ebay to recognize it. If you VIN search this VIN it will come up as an F350 year 2000. That VIN is the frame/engine/trans/transfer case.
The story behind the truck is it was being built as a retirement truck for a friend of a friend in Ohio, he had the machine work done and the rebuilds taken care of, as well as the paint and getting the lift kit. Sadly he was taken by a drunk driver and I bought it from his widow. I lost the place where I was working on it, then COVID layoff totally derailed me. I am asking the amount I am asking because it is on its way to being a brand new, crew cab dually, 7.3. It absolutely is a lot of work but I am absolutely asking for less than half what is in it. This is a perfect truck for the person that wants this kind of vehicle.
Good Stuff: It has the desirable, indestructible 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel engine. It was decked and honed with plates, line honed, new cam and gear, fresh valves and seals. The turbo got new seals and bushings along with the usual upgraded compressor wheel. Transmission has new clutches and steels,a new converter but it needs a new solenoid pack. The transfer case has been rebuilt as well. Frame was professionally blasted and painted with a POR type product from NAPA. The rear axle is from a 2005 F350 so it has the disk brakes. Both axles were stripped and painted with the same kind of paint as the frame. The truck has been painted a beautiful pearl white. It has the 5 star style solid aluminum rims. Lastly it has a brand new ProComp 6 inch lift springs, and shocks.
The less good: It needs a passenger seat and carpet. There are 2 sets of interior panels, tan and grey, 3 steering columns and wheels, with keys, center console and wiring harness. The interior bits need to be refurbished and reinstalled. The guts off the doors need to be reinstalled, windows and tracks are in, not motors or latches. The entire truck was blown apart for paint. There is no rust on this truck. As noted above, the app didnt like the actual VIN for the truck. The original cab was super rusted so this cab is from a 2006 F350 crew cab pickup. That is the VIN I entered to get Ebay to recognize it. If you VIN search this VIN it will come up as an F350 year 2000.
The trailer it is on is also for sale for an additional 6k.
I will deliver, first 500 miles are free, 65 cents per mile after. Driving miles, not straight line.
