This van started out as a Madrid Rescue Squad emergency vehicle. It was maintained to the highest standards as a county emergency vehicle, as a firetruck is maintained. It was always garaged and wash when dispatch was quiet. I purchased it from a dealer in NJ earlier this year and planned to turn it into a tow truck but my plans have changed.
All the body work was professionally done by custom auto body in Elizabethtown, PA. 1. I paid a premium for a low mileage emergency vehicle. 2. The labor it cost to remove the old body, disposal, and labor. 3. paid 1k to get a cab back shipped from Minnesota. 4. installation cost and labor cost to install. 5. repainted exterior of vehicle and repair any imperfections.
