| “This 1999 Mercedes Benz SL500 is the crème of the crop when it comes to luxury, dependability, design, comfort, and drivability. In 1999 this was the flag ship car of the Mercedes Benz line. 18 years later it still turns heads going down the road. This vehicle only has aprx 85,970 miles on it. It is a 3 owner vehicle and the miles reflect it was driven 4,800 miles per year. It comes equipped with the factory hard and soft top. The hard top comes off as it is supposed to. The soft top makes a noise when the button is pressed, but will not come up. I have not had the top looked at by a mechanic just selling it with the soft top inoperable. The overall condition of the vehicle is good for the year. It does show minimal signs of normal wear for a used vehicle.
