Up for sale is a 1999 Land Rover Discovery Series II in Green.
First off I know this car is not perfect, I picked up several around the same time in hopes to have a mechanic give me at lease one perfect one. However, my mechanic feel through so I am needing to sell them now. I will list as many of the issues that I am aware of at the time of purchase and or showed up during my short time of owner ship.
This car was formerly a ranch vehicle, it has exterior body damage on the right rear quarter panel, as far as I can tell it has not damaged the interior part of the structure. The front and rear factory plastic bumper overlays are nearly all gone, especially the front. The rear sunroof has an active leak. The leather seats have seen much better days. Mechanically she was 100% derivable, even with the three amigos showing up on the dash. the previous owner said he had fixed that, however I doubt that. The AC blew cold for a while and then less so. Finally I believe the rear crank case seal went after driving it one night started to get some misfires, popped the hood saw oil all along the rear of the engine, the leads on the left hand side had oil on them, checked with my OBDII reader and sure enough the left side misfired. That tells me the leads must have a crack ass well as the right side had oil on it as well and no misfires. I have not driven it since as I did not want to burn up the engine.
Please note the rim on this are from my 04, it will come with a set a factory set of five 16" x 7". I used these rims as they had the newest tyres. I had also lost the only factory key during a time of family hardship, I have since gotten the Key code and had a key smith make me a new one, it works perfectly in the ignition but you have to play with it on the door. The mileage is not exact, I honestly do not recall, I think it"s less but really do not remember please take that with a grain of salt.
