Was my daily commuter until I had kids and needed a 4 door. Runs good. Has a lot of rust on frame and body. A few panels have had rusted areas repaired, rust showing thru in a few more, but it"s an old Jeep. Call them battle scars! To address the rusty frame, an engineer friend added a high grade steel brace to the frame to reinforce it. See pictures for details. The engine runs good. no major problems. Tires are in great shape. Radiator replaced recently. Normal oil changes completed on time. The suspension has a few squeaks and groans but it"s been sitting in my garage for over 6 months. Mileage is pretty low considering it"s 1999 and mostly country driving to work and back.
