About this vehicle This 1999 Ford Mustang is an original with updates to the drivetrain. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Vehicle Details 1999 SUPERCHARGED SALEEN MUSTANG… This was the last car for the year #269 Very Collectible . I’m not going to go into a massive detail of the car I will hit the bullet points and be as transparent as I possibly can be about the car. First off and most importantly the car runs great and as far as I know it needs absolutely nothing. I’ve went on a couple 300 mile wkend trips in the last month and the car drove great for me. I’ve had a few of these in the past , so I know my Saleens. The previous owner put three modifications on a car that I can tell . 1)K&N air filter 2)Subframe connectors 3)SPC suspension system which rides a lot smoother than the stock suspension. I have the original springs that were taken off the car and personally speaking I would reinstall them for I like a stiffer suspension. The car is from California and has just recently passed the California smog and Emissions which is one of the most stringent in the United States. 1) I would give the car a 9.8 in performance and the way it runs shifting through all the gears and the superscharger Spooling up and running as it should. As far as the drivetrain and the engine and rearend everything runs as it should. I would say the car is solid. 2) I would give the exterior of the car the paint bodywork and so on and so forth and 8.5 I have pictures to show the chipped areas of paint that need to be addressed I did not come across any dents at all , just chipped paint here and there again nothing major it’s all superficial , I would have these areas addressed but that’s me. 3) The interior I will give a 9.5 the only thing to make this into your absolutely 100% cherry from what I can see would be a good carpet shampoo not that it’s bad it’s just me and I’m meticulous that way . I would also have the driver side cushion refurbished that’s all that is needed , and there are a couple of plastic buttons that are missing here in there that are nothing major. 4) I would give all the electronics a 10 out of 10 for they All work perfectly nothing needs to be addressed or looked at also there are no codes whatsoever. Last but not least the top is A 9.8 it does not leak and the rear window is solid and tight and wrapped good around the fabric not coming apart or anything. The tires , wheels and brakes I would give a 9.8 only due to wear also missing one center cap on one of the rims. Again nothing major. I would keep the car but I have too many projects , like a lot of us out here do and this one unfortunately is going to have to go down the road for somebody else to enjoy and touch up here and there. Everything that I’ve explained about the car that needs to be addressed is superficial as you can tell from the pictures. The car looks pretty darn good and I would give the car an overall 10 at 10 feet lol , but if you are like me and meticulous you would go up to the car and noticed the things that I have mentioned. I’ve done my best to describe the car and be as transparent as I can. You could easily fly in and drive this car home , or have it shipped to you. Upon receipt of payment I will put all legal documentation and paperwork pertaining to the car in the mail and have it mailed off to you overnight. The car will stay in my garage safe and secure and not be driven until you pick it up or have it delivered. One last thing the car does come with a nice car cover included.
