“Nice Old Ford 7.3. Black ext. cab long bed 4x4. XLT. Lots of new parts. Very clean for its age and in comparison to many other similar trucks. If I would negate the truck in any way I would say the paint is in good condition but it has its share of little dings/dents/scratches that are somewhat expected of a vehicle this age. Its black, it shows everything. This is not a show room/garage kept truck. HOWEVER! with that said it is complimented all the time and will for sure turn heads.” |

Vehicle description
1999 F350 Super Duty with the sought after 7.3 Diesel. 4 wheel drive ext. cab long bed truck. Sits on 35" toyo m/t"s. This is my personal daily driving vehicle that I am sad to part with. Hard to find truck that isn"t a total piece of junk. I have only put on premium parts and only run motorcraft oils/filters on the services. Lots of other new parts including the most important with these trucks and that is a new heavy duty transmission/torque converter with the 6.0 trans cooler. Truck has a complete front end rebuild including hubs/wheels bearings/tie rods/drag link/brakes/calipers/hoses/red head steering box etc. All new polyurethane leaf spring and sway bar bushings. New bilstein shocks all around. Truck drives about as good as you"re gonna get with a leaf spring set up. Engine has new glow plugs, new batteries, new alternator, intake, exhaust, Injectors done by previous owner. Has block heater but this truck will start up immediately in freezing temperatures without being plugged in.
Cant think of anything that doesn"t work except for the following: 1)Turn signal lever works but will not click back 2)E-brake works but is not very strong - Did not know when doing the rear brakes that it was a drum style brake for the emergency brake. SO, just needs new shoes/hardware to be firm again. 3)Windshield is cracked 4)I purchased the washer nozzle for the driver side I just have not put it in. The one in it right now just kinda barely squirts out.
Other than these small issues honestly this truck is fantastic. When you turn on the lights the interior dash and HVAC lights are red. Doors role up and down, locks all work, Heat and A/C work. Has some billet knob accessories. New blower motor and relay. New Carpet. 214,500 miles, just did the service. 2007 Harley Front End. 2008 taillights and mirrors. Has remote start and viper alarm. New driver seat foam and cover. Engine bay is clean and not super oily like most others. Undercarriage is clean, no rust. Does not burn oil, there is just a little bit of oil on the oil pan but that"s expected. Has a quick change oil drain plug (no tools needed for service)
Only thing I would negate on this truck is that the body/paint are not perfect. It has its share of small dings/dents/scratches. Its black it shows every thing and I want to make it clear that this is not a show room quality truck. Please look at pictures However, it does get complimented and looks great for almost a 20 year old truck/paint job. Some people are too unrealistic when it comes to what to expect with a diesel truck that is almost 20 years old and black in color. If the dents/scratches bother you then go spend 75 thousand and get a new truck and dont waste my time.
If this truck was flawless I dont think I could let it go because finding another one with all the work that has been done like this one would be near impossible. And if you did the price would be double. I"ve seen a few that have sold for some a pretty penny, but all things considered I"m asking a more than fair price for the truck. Ill accept a reasonable offer but not going to even give any merit to a 10k dollar offer. Ive been offered more and just did not want to sell at the time. If you want a great reliable 7.3 that looks great, has a great stance and will last forever and dont want a diesel that will cost 75 k then this is a perfect truck.
Call me with any questions ill be happy to answer and thanks for looking.
