This is not some old timer magical rust free barn find miracle. It is a 22 year old pickup meant for working. I assure you the truck looks better in the photos than it does in person. The paint condition is what you would call "Good from far, Far from good!". There are a lot of parts and pieces that have been replaced or updated in the last ten years. I have owned this truck for 6 years and it has been great for me, however I just do not drive it as much as I should. I've put 5,000 miles on it in the time I've had it. I changed oil and filters once a year, so it's been 1,000 mile oil changes. There is a long list of good things and a long list of bad things. Please read them as this is probably the only honest listing you'll see for a 7.3 for a while.The Good- New Motorcraft Glow Plugs & VCG installed 10/21-New Rear Wheel Seals & Bearing 10/21-New air intake 6/21-New 4" MBRP Exhaust w/ flow thru muffler(hollow muffler passes inspection) 10/21-New Battery Cables from CustomBatteryCables.com 12/20-Bilstein 5100 Front Shocks-Fuel Bowl Delete & Regulated Return with Frame Mounted Fuel Filters-BD Power Transmisssion - Replaced CPS with one from International-LED Foglights (disconnected to pass inspection, easily reconnected-Recent Front Calipers 2017-Replaced Front Headlights (2007 style) 2017-Replaced Tail Lights 2017-2007 Grill to make it look newer than it is-2008 Mirrors (unpowered)-2008 Bumper-Reese Rails in Bed for Fifth Wheel/Gooseneck-Brake Controller/ Bumper hitch-It does come with Helper Air Bags. They had to be removed to pass inspection but stay with truck.THE BAD- Has a code P0733 in the transmission. The issue is twice this year the o/d has flashed and it seems to have lost first gear. After parking the truck the problem disappeared. I took it to a shop and they could not recreate the problem. It may be that the input and output sensor (TSS & OSS) need to be replaced as the transmission has already been replaced.-Has some wiper issues. Sometimes when you turn the wipers off they will wipe one more time.-Cruise Control does not work. I never used it because of the fire recall which is still active for this truck.-Passenger and rear windows are slow to move up and down.-Electric Door Locks only work on drivers side. All doors lock and unlock but not electrically.-Passenger side speaker has a loose connection and goes in and out.-Vacuum Lines need replaced for the Electronic locking hubs. 4x4 works but front hubs need to be locked manually -Many paint chips scratches dents and dings. A lot of them have been touched up but upon closer inspection you will find a million little spots. The bed has been repainted (poorly) and does have some holes drilled in it for toolboxes etc.-NOT A RUST FREE TRUCK! ! There are rust spots all over the place. I have tried to keep up with them as they show up but it is a 22 year old truck. The underside is mostly decent but not perfect. On the passenger side rear of the cab you can see some rust bubbles starting to show through. On the drivers side of the bed there are some deep scratches that will have to be addressed soon. There is a big paint touch-up that is honestly terrible. It doesn't stand out but once you see it, it cannot be unseen.-Interior is not perfect.
