Late model year 1999 Ford F250 Super Duty Extended Cab 4x4 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel (had the bigger turbo, intercooler, and forged steel piston rods). This is the one to have for the 7.3"s! In fact I don"t really want to get rid of it, but now I have a 2000 Ford Excursion with the same engine and can"t justify keeping the truck. Pretty much all of the components in the under-carriage one would expect to wear out at this age have been replaced: shocks, locking wheel hubs, steering tie arm, front wheel bearings, rear right hub seal, and more! The engine should go for another few hundred thousand miles before it will need overhaul, if well maintained. Tire tread is plenty good with only about 5,000 miles on it. Maintenance records will be provided to prospective buyers in person. The extras include a matching canopy, driver side power seats, spray in bed liner, camper tie downs, rear air shocks (greatly increases the rear axle capacity), and cab steps . . altogether about $2,500 worth of bonus items and camper ready! The issues are some slightly mismatched paint where rust was removed, a roughly 3" hole under the driver side rear door where the rust went through, the canopy paint is peeling (aluminum, so no issues with rust), the AC is shot ($800 repair), the rear bumper is bent (cosmetic, $200), on a rare occasion the throttle cuts out (throttle position sensor and pedal assembly, $200), and the defrost works but cab ventilation is weak (probably ducting or something). Weight distributing hitch is not included with sale price, but is available for sale. Overall, this truck has spent all but the last three years of its life out West, so not nearly as much rust as you normally see on the trucks here on the East Coast!
