5.9L Cummins 24 Valve Diesel. 4-Speed automatic transmission. Long bed. 315K miles.
This is a one owner truck. My dad and I ordered this truck directly from Dodge in 1999. We’ve taken meticulous care of it over the years. Every mechanic we’ve been to has told us that this is the cleanest, best maintained 2nd Generation Dodge that they’ve had in their shop.
It got its second transmission at 270K; that alone is a testament to how responsibly and carefully it was driven.
At 290K cylinders were compression tested; all six cylinders are still well within factory compression specs. This engine has never been modified, "hopped up," or chipped. I"ve kept it totally stock and always used factory parts.
Howes diesel additive is mixed into fuel at every fill-up to keep injectors and cylinder properly lubricated. Oil has been changed religiously every 3,000 miles.
Has trailer brake control package. Manual heating grid light indicators and switch. Marker lights on separate switch. Oil pan and engine block heaters. Radiator blanket. Ready for winter.
Custom built and powder-coated headache rack and equipment tie-down rack.
This truck is being sold at a premium for a reason. It is in exceptional shape. There is no additional service investment needed, no repairs required. This truck is ready to run and work indefinitely as-is. If it continues to be taken care of and driven well, this truck’s working life could be stretched for decades.
