Vehicle description
1999 K2500 Suburban LT 4X4 7.4L
This is a very nice heavy 3/4 ton (8600 GVWR) 4X4 suburban with a tuned 454 (7.4L) engine. This truck is ready to comfortably drive or pull your camper or boat to the lake. The truck has been well cared for with all synthetic oils and quality WIX filters and regular service. Rare for a 1999 model, the interior is in good shape with minimal stains and tears and the body has no rust. SMOKE AND PET FREE TRUCK, truck was washed and vacuumed but NOT shampooed before pictures. See VIDEO LINKS BELOW. Drive-train and brakes are excellent. -The 454 engine has a complete tune up (new plugs, wires, cap, rotor) and a professionally programmed (tow/haul) ECM tune. Engine runs strong and burns NO oil. -Engine has a new metal distributor (no more factory plastic distributor) to keep accurate timing. - Engine has new fuel injectors fixing the common leak down/hard start problem of old original injectors. -The engine breathes through a K&N air filter and a professionally installed FLOWMASTER 70series big block muffler. Engine runs very well with a little tone at acceleration and nice and quiet down the highway with no drone at all. - Engine stays on a tight schedule of Mobil 1 synthetic oil and WIX oil filter changes. - 4L80E HD Transmission shifts excellent - Full float 14 bolt differential has 3.73 gears, posi-traction unit, and a fresh synthetic gear oil change. - 4 wheel drive works perfect in all settings. - Brakes are brand new with all new rotors, calipers, pads and brake hoses on the front. Brakes work excellent, and the front end is completely tight, which is a must for pulling your family and equipment down the road. - New Cooper Discoverer AT3 (load range E) 10 ply tires were installed about 5,000 miles ago and a complete wheel alignment was done at that time. Truck drives nice and straight. - I installed AIR LIFT adjustable air suspension to help out the rear springs to keep the truck level when pulling a heavier load. - Tow package with brake controller. - The windshield had a small crack in it so I had the windshield replaced about 6 months ago.
This has been an excellent and reliable truck for us and there is not many of these older trucks looking and running this good on the road anymore, but we moved into a different vehicle and we cant have an extra truck not being used the way it should. Hopefully it will be appreciated by someone else as much as we have.
