Vehicle description
1999 Chevy G3500 Express 14" cutaway box truck with 14" Grumman Olson box 5.7L Vortec V8 Auto trans GVW 10-14K 1999 Chevy G3500 express cutaway box truck in very good mechanical condition
the cab/seats are not the prettiest but the truck runs and drives like new would not hesitate
to drive cross country about 12-14 mpg highway
Could be used for business, camping, nomad living, secure hauling of toys etc. or storage unit
This Chevy G3500 cutaway was purchased for 8 or so back to back trips from Eastern Wa. to Arlington Wa. and as many trips from temporary storage to permanent before setting as a movable household items/tool storage unit in the driveway with zero issues to date
Purchased form a dealer (2015) then put on jack stands and replaced/changed/flushed all belt/fluids/shift modules though the trans may be newer (Kings Transmission Seattle 2014) it was really clean, new Centric brakes, Monroe shocks, AC Delco starter, full tune up all new Moog USA front end Les Schwab inspection/front end alignment.
Rewired box with new wire/running lights, trailer lights
Replaced all wall wood in box and added dual Ancra track, logistic straps etc., floors seemed fine
6 new BF Goodrich commercial tires, two Kelly Safari"s go with as spares no rims with spares
The 5.7L Vortec engine runs strong and trans shifts as it should with full/empty load
It was an Air Cargo truck and they seemed to have kept it in good running condition hence the 240k+ highway miles
All in all its a good safe mechanical running driving cutaway box truck, the cab has a slight leak on passenger side in heavy rains but with a dry weekend could be re-caulked/painted to look new
The seats are ok but we did not worry about beauty just safety/dependability for our 8+ back to back long distance trips
The back door works fine and could be replaced with sheets of Marine ply from big box store and possibly new hardware off Ebay
We have the plastics/console that are missing in cab when Alpine stereo was installed and front rim nut covers
Clear title tabbed till Feb 2018 The miles are actually 248,400 though stated 250K as I like occasionally driving the truck
to work Email any questions view/purchase time /location
Asking 6000.00 CASH ONLY as that"s what we have into it
