| “... a used 1999 van that has been driven to work and to estate auctions, with 227K miles on it; until recently when a steel brake line broke and started leaking brake fluid. Still starts and runs OK, and you'll be able to drive it onto your vehicle trailer; but soft brake pedal keeps you from driving it home. It's the steel brake line that runs from front to back of the truck; rusted thru back by the rear wheel. Whole brake line needs replaced. Also has front end body damage (pictures), which happened before I owned it; more then four years. Paint is peeling off all over the truck, as did all vans from this era in time. The front of the roof has surface rust from this paint being missing. All exterior cargo doors work fine... the interior cargo area has metal shelving and driver to cargo area separation with a door in it; as pictured. The cab area is use dirty, the cooler and other junk will be removed; the drivers seat vinyl is ripped-up some. Please send any un-answered questions.” |

NO RESERVE 7 DAY AUCTION, LOW OPENING PRICE, Truck is in LaOtto Indiana, about 10 miles north of Fort Wayne , Was driving this a couple times a week, until recently a steel brake line broke; on the way to a local auction. . . . . . This auction for the pictured 1999 Chevrolet G2500 Express Cargo Van in starting and running condition, but with a broken steel brake line making the truck undriveable. The long brake line from the front of the truck to the rear rusted thru, back by the rear wheel. I don"t have the means to repair that here, so am offering at auction. Winning high bidder will be able to start and drive the van onto a car trailer, but soft brake pedal prohibits driving the van home . Loads of miles on the truck, 227K miles. It"s air conditioned equipped but it doesn"t cool. I cleaned the cigarette smoke out of the truck four years ago when I bought it, and hasn"t been smoked-in since. Has body damage to the front end and peeling paint. The fan belt squeals when you first start it, most of the time. Other then that, the truck did start every time I needed it this last winter; transmission drives out just fine. Changed oil and filter twice a year, while I owned it.
