Vehicle description
I am selling my 1999 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Convertible. We bought this car in November 2005, and it has been a fantastic automobile. It has been as solid, dependable, and enjoyable as any car could ever be. Since we got it, it has always been garage-kept, and always properly serviced. Nothing but Mobil 1 oil changes.
The Camaro has a K&N filter charger. The Super Sport hood is functional. It has Flowmaster exhaust, nearly new Firestone Indy tires, new battery, and new brakes. The suspension and steering have been completely rebuilt with polyurethane bushings, and it drives great. A friend with an F-body of similar vintage drove it and was amazed how tight and true it drives.
The convertible top was originally tan. We replaced it with black, simply because we didn"t care for the tan top. It is flawless. The top is power, and it lowers and raises as it should. It comes with the factory top boot as well.
This car has been our weekend beach cruiser and has seen some parade duty as well. New ventures have brought us to the decision to let someone else enjoy this fantastic car, as we simply don"t drive it much anymore.
The car is sold with no warranty expressed or implied. All sales final. Transportation is the responsibility of the winning bidder, however, I am willing to cooperate with transportation companies. A $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of the auction which I will accept through PayPal. The remaining balance must be paid in cash or by cashier"s check. You are welcome to inspect the car in person. I am also happy to send additional photos or answer any questions you may have.
NOTE - I looked at the AutoCheck report supplies and see they list a mileage discrepancy. This is news to me. I suppose someone at the DMV made an error when inputting the information when I initially registered it in 2005. I suppose I can see how someone could easily type 111 instead of 119. This error, however, kills the score, which is absolutely unfair to this car. There is no evidence whatsoever that the odometer has ever been tampered with.
