Motor :Sounds and performs excellent this car has 18100 miles these are low miles for the year on this SUV. motors performs like new . has tons of life left a true definition of a Toyota motor.
Transmission : Shifts through all the gears perfectly no bangs no bucks smooth as silk. 4x4 works perfectly through all the gears.
Suspension : is ok on the highway I felt a couple of bumps in the rear. you do feel them when you hit a hard bumps. but ok! !
Undercarriage : The frame is FAIR HAS RUST on it . it is not a Florida car. there is flake on frame but no holes I went through the whole frame with a hammer it is hard and all there! ! There are 2 pieces that I will touch up with welding 2 minor holes 1 -2 inch professionally 1 in front 1 in back very very small. all cab mounts great the 2 in the rear are bad. again rusty some pieces are layered but still it is intact.and good. I undercoated everything but be aware there is rust.! ! all undercoated and went through frame. 2 new brake lines! AGAIN FRAME HAS RUST ! AND ITS FAIR , please check your DMV laws and inspection laws
Interior : looks excellent! leather, heated seats, sunroof everything works 4x4 ac! power seats looks great! missing 3rd row but the clamps are in the rear. there are 12 rear seats for sale on Ebay as we speak. interior is nice! !
Body and Paint : ok. . there is a scratch here a bubble painted on fender. some paper thin scratches rockers are great. 1 touch up on roof. it is ok paint shines looks good. I would say normal for a car driven from 98. not show room but good. just know it has some normal wear. The previous owner had 2 signs on driver and passenger door once removed left mark so it was spray painted and it shows want to point that out. see in pics
Tires : are 60%-70%
The car needs a BRAKE BOOSTER. very hard brakes.abs/brake light on. It also has a beeping noise that stays on not sure if its because the brake abs light is on. It is like a open door chime. The new owner can drive the car but they are very hard and takes an extra second or 2 to stop. this is the brake booster a used one costs about 200-350. I don"t know 100% where the chime is coming from.Also for far drive home use caution for new buyer! So the booster is a sooner fix than later. if you decide to drive , you will have to drive at OWN RISK ! ! Brakes are hard and strong leg . . DRIVE AT OWN RISK !
steering is great! ! guys please look what these trucks go for with these miles as much as $15000! !
