1998 Toyota Land Cruiser
This "98 Toyota Land Cruiser has been a great ride for the past 21 years. I do not drive it enough now to justify keeping up with the maintenance and insurance. Full disclosure, while the majority of the car is in great shape (everything under the hood is in working condition as verified by a recent Multipoint Inspection by Toyota Santa Monica), there are some immediate repair items under the vehicle to take into consideration. While the car can be driven, the following items need to be fixed if driving over 45 MPH or on the highway (the steering rack is leaking and causes a slight rattle over 45 MPH). See the last two pictures for further details.
Immediate repairs include: 1. Drive Shaft Repair/Replacement 2. Steering Rack Leaking 3. Ball Joint Replacement - Upper 4. Boots - Ball Joint Front Lower
Because the Land Cruiser will be sold as is, I have discounted the price to reflect the necessary repairs (which range in price depending on where you get it fixed). CARFAX report and repair detail PDFs available upon request. I do not have the third row of seats. Sold with a brand-new battery (installed by AAA on March 9th, 2019) and a full tank of gas for your next adventure.
I plan on meeting interested parties this coming Saturday morning (June 1st) in the parking lot of the Santa Monica DMV. We will arrange a specific time to meet. Test drives are available; feel free to bring your own mechanic for a full inspection (at your expense).
