Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 1998 Toyota Camry is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is used as a daily driver. Vehicle Details This is a very nice and clean 1998 Camry, one female driver since June 2001. Engine runs like new (listen to attached video) and has had many parts replaced Only major issue is that the left side was hit by a delivery driver, so it will need the front bumper repaired or replaced and the coolant overflow tank replaced. Vehicle was a daily driver to train station or bus stop prior to the pandemic. After working from home for a year, the contract wasn't extended due to lack of work, so the vehicle is no longer needed. Major vehicle work has been done over the last five years, including rear oil seal and steering box, some other major engine work but I don't know the details, brake pads and rotors, complete exhaust system including catalytic converter and a brand new battery. The owner just recently decided to part with it, and had ordered some maintenance items, so this listing includes new floor mats, new leather-like seat covers (still in the box), two new AC Delco brake rotors, and two new wiper blades. In terms of maintenance repairs needed, I notice the AC isn't blowing as cold as it should, so it likely needs to recharged, the front brakes need work since it feels like the rotors may be warped, it likely needs struts because of age, the hood needs to be repainted and there is some wetness in the trunk so the seal may need to be checked or repaired. The vehicle is drivable, because I taped the bumper in place, but I wouldn't recommend a long drive without repairs because the coolant overflow tank is off and it could over heat. Selling strictly as-is. Because the vehicle is over 20 years old, in Maryland it it eligible for historic plates, as long as the conditions are met. Please check the MVA website for details.
