Got my 1998 Lexus LS400 for sale. This car is a blast to drive, reliable as anything. I can provide a carfax if requested. I also have full maintenance history as well. All the important stuff has been replaced on this car.
Factory Atlantis Blue Mica color, hard to find this color.
Car has 280,9xx miles(mostly highway miles). Does not burn a drop of oil. Mileage on these cars means nothing as long as they are maintained.
Timing Belt/Water Pump/90k maintenance was completed at 266,584 miles with all FACTORY toyota/lexus parts(~$500). Cam seals were replaced as well, which many people don"t do because of level of difficulty and cost of labor. This car needs nothing.
Car will come with Factory 18" Lexus GS350/430 Wheels with 245/40/18 tires with full size spare in trunk.
PROS:
-teloscopic steering WORKS
-NO power steering leaks
-factory key remote works & comes with valet key
-great working A/C
-runs flawlessly
-rear muffler delete (sounds great, don"t knock it til you hear it)
-transmission shifts great, only Toyota Type IV fluid has been used
-good brakes/brakes have been bleed as well
-front suspension all replaced(upper,lower ball joints, lower&upper control arms, tie rods, strut rods)
CONS:
-2 broken wheel studs(no big deal, but easy fix)
-18" wheels have some curb rash
-some paint missing on rear bumper, got hit and run at some point
-some exterior dings and dents
-soundsystem is not the best, but gets the job done
-brake pads i installed did not come with the shims, so you will hear the pads moving against the caliper in parking lots. Brakes work flawlessly, just make sure to get pads with the shims included next time.
Price is FIRM. Hard to find these cars that have actually been maintained. Rare color as well.
