FOR SALE: 1998 Jaguar XK8 Convertible
This is a fantastic, head turning convertible. It gets so much attention when just out and about or at a car show. This car is always garaged and has been babied, as reflective in the photos. Soooo many updates have been done to this car. We have full documentation on all updates/repairs from the previous owner as well as us. Below is a list some of the most recent updates but please feel free to ask about anything you may have a concern about. Front and Rear Shocks Replaced Sway Bar Bushings Replaced End Links and Bushings Replaced Both Hood Shocks Replaced Rear Pinion Seal Replaced Brake Switch Sensor Replaced Power Steering Line Replaced Engine Coolant Lines Replaced Oil Pan Gasket Replaced Intake Manifold Gaskets Replaced Thermostat and Tower Replaced Vacuum Seals Replaced Throttle Body Gasket Replaced Heater Hoses Replaced Throttle Cooling Hoses Replaced Lower Radiator Hose Replaced All Speakers Replaced These updates were done to ensure a safe driving vehicle for my wife. Did they all need to be done? Probably not. But alas, the money was spent so the advantage is yours. As you can see via the VIN entry above, this car scores high on the scale as there have only been 3 owners and no accidents. This car is not "perfect" or "like new". Those are unrealistic terms for any car 19 years old that"s been driven. However, it"s in really good condition and drives like a Jaguar should. No check engine lights, no leaks and zero rust! A full synthetic Mobil 1 oil change was done less than 50 miles ago. It"s been color match waxed, twice, so the paint is mirror-like. Heated seats, new convertible top and power everything. I also added a SIrius/XM hookup for satellite radio (XM Module not included).The custom British Union Jack floormats, factory 6-disk cd changer and all manuals are included. Seriously, just get in and drive! As you can see by my 16 years worth of positive feedback on eBay, I’m an honest guy so please feel free to ask me any questions. A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction ending unless other arrangements have been made.
