Vehicle description
For sale is a 1998 dodge ram 2500. It is important to know this truck started its life as a 2500 v8 manual truck. With that said everything on this truck has been done right and built from the ground up. This truck has every feature a 2nd gen enthusiast could desire. new parts as below
1. rebuilt front axle with new bearings, moog steering, ball joints, u joints, and skf wheel bearings. after market 1 inch longer DOM and poly control arms.
2. engine has new bosch injectors and valve adjustment, afe wastegate, and #10 fuel plate along with a 4 inch afe exhaust.
3. Transmission has been rebuilt with new bearings and synchos along with a fully splined output shaft. It has a 350hp southbend clutch.
4. 241dhd transfer case disassembled and inspected and resealed as it was in good shape inside.
5. Rear axle rebuilt with new skf bearings and seals (very expensive kit) along with a eaton true trac differential as factory was an open unit.
6. new bilstein 5100 shocks all around
7. rhino liner bed liner
8 brand new 315-75-16 toyo mts with no more then 2500 miles along with aluminum black wheels.
9. Ranch hand front and rear bumpers.
10. gooseneck in bed
11. rebuilt front and rear driveshafts
12. clean ny title, previously a colorado truck.
13. SLT plus interior with leather and rebuild factory cd player with aux plug.
14. Paint in decent shape but has dings and dents as would be expected for an original 98.
bad- cruise worked well until the servo went out and when it did the throttle was cracked open to idle at 1000rpm so it was disconnected until i could find a clean ebay unit. windshield has a crack just below the very top, kinda hard to notice without looking. passes inspection at least in ny.
Everything else works perfect and a very nice driving truck. would drive anywhere in the country without a second thought. ac blows ice cold. doesnt leak a drop of anything. any questions feel free to ask.
