Vehicle description
1998 Corvette Convertible Black with Black interior.
In 1998 the Corvette was Motor Trends Car of The year. It has the best engine ever put in a Corvette. The all Aluminum LS1 350 V8 engine has an aluminum block & aluminum cylinder heads. it’s so light they were able to balance the Front/Rear weight 49/51, and the Body/Chassis is 3X more ridged than previous Corvette Convertibles. Also, everyone jumped on board with the LS1 engine because 240,000 were sold. OEM, After-Market, Performance Parts. . You can boost the HP to a 1000+, or just add a cam and a few mods and get over 400hp. No problem finding parts for the LS1. I believe the LS1 all-aluminum engine is the reason the 1998 Corvette Convertible was car of the year; you just don’t see this level of tech on cars that sold for $45K. This one has extremely low miles (42K). The car is magnificent! You won’t be disappointed.
