Up for consideration is this 1998 BMW Z3 2.8 Roadster convertible e36. Mileage as of this writing is 89900. Just easily passed California"s enhanced smog check on 1/18/18. Great color combination of Schwarz ll/ jet black and black leather interior, black canvas top.
This car is a blast to drive with the powerful 2.8 liter 6 cylinder and 5-speed gearbox. Very quick acceleration, the car has power, and handles like its on rails. Mechanically sound example with no issues, no warning lights on. Makes no funny noises. All power accessories and electrics work as they should. Nice sound from the exhaust on acceleration/ deceleration.
Loaded with heated and power seats, electric convertible top, driver"s and passenger airbags, 4 wheel power disc brakes, power steering, cruise control, power windows, and factory security system. Original factory stereo was replaced at some point with an Alpine tuner and CD shuttle control with a 6 disc Alpine CD changer in the trunk.
Interior is clean on this Z3. Dash and faux woodgraining are in perfect shape. The driver"s seat does have some wear from entering and exiting the vehicle, and has worn a small hole in the leather from this. The passenger side seat has a tear in the leather near the seat belt guide, but is hardly noticeable. Under the pair of Lloyd floor mats, the factory carpeting is perfect. Door panels are perfect. All glass is good. The rear window of the convertible top could be in a bit better shape, but hey its 20 years old. The black canvas convertible top is in great shape. Operates and folds away like it should. .
Car sits on 17 inch wheels with 215/45z/r17 tires in the front and 235/45z/r17 tires in the rear. At least 75% of tread left on the tires. Brand new Interstate black top battery installed on 1/17/18.
This Z3 roadster has a clean and clear California title. Smog certificate good until 4/18/18. Owner"s manual book, Service and Warranty book, years of receipts, original keys, factory tool kit, jack, spare tire, top boot, and car cover, are all included with the sale.
