Vehicle description
Selling my E36 1998 BMW M3 with only 51k miles. Beautiful color combination of Cosmos Black and Dove Gray leather interior.
Overall the car is in excellent condition, has always been garaged and babied. The paint shines like it is new , leather and interior are super clean and without any rips or blemishes, AC is cold, and everything else works like it should.
It is hard to believe that this M3 is almost 20 years old. I get compliments on this car everywhere I go and unlike most M3"s, this one was never raced. The engine is in one word fantastic. If you have never driven an M3 you should. The slogan "ultimate driving machine " will all of a sudden make sense. I put new tires and brakes on it right about 10k miles ago so they still have a lot of life left.
Also, this car comes with an OEM wind reflector ( $400+) which is really nice when it is windy or colder at night.
The power top works perfect and I had the headliner repaired last year by a local specialist. This car is all original so the fact that the plastic back window is still clear should tell you something. Clean trunk, complete repair set and full size spare are all present.
Now, the car is not flawless: I took a picture of the separation at the back window. It doesn"t leak and is perfectly fine the way it is for me so I didn"t bother fixing it. If you want to make it a concourse show car, it will have to be fixed. There are a few, very few, paint chips on the front bumper. They are so small you won"t see them on a picture. Clear title in hand , no accidents, I"m the 3rd owner and have had it for about 7 years. I bought the car at Jim Ellis Audi in Atlanta. The previous owners also lived in Atlanta . They were an older couple who had bought a Q5 as getting in and out of the M3 had become difficult.
For you collectors: I changed the turn signal lights to clear a few years ago but have the original ones stored which will be included . I will also include a set of extra brand new "angel eyes" headlights as I bought them about 5 years ago but never installed them. Again, this car has no modifications and is completely stock. I recently bought a BMW 850 project car so could use the garage space but I"m not in a rush to sell and won"t entertain any low ball offers. Low mileage E36"s like this one are becoming more rare and valuable every year. Check out Hagerty for the valuation: Good $13,600 / Excellent $18,800. Call or email me with any questions. I will be happy to send more pictures as well. Thank you.
