A special opportunity for the knowers of WV diesel wonder, diesel and economy fanatics. member of The famous million Km Club of Germany. Made in Germany and was registered as Goldene Series. The 5 years of production that was exceptionally durable and economical. 50 miles per gallon, technically nothing wrong in new like exterior. Starts immediately, runs smooth air and heat perfect sound system new with iPhone /Galaxy application. Steering , Breaks and transmission in prime with no repairs of any kind in the past . Tires perfect. next timing belt change is due in 55 Thousand miles.
modifications or problems : The trunk lock was causing problems with the theft alarm - older cars have that in this manner or other - so I removed the fuse controlling the automatic lock from the trunk. No problems with the theft alarm since ( 3 years ) but this also cuts the power to power locks of the doors and the sun roof. If desired easier thing would be removing the cabling of the trunk lock and replacing the fuse . I just never came around to do it. This in no way interferes with the operation of the vehicle.
Exterior: almost rust free - some area rust is shown on the pics . almost good clear coat. . Looks great .
Interior.: there are falling ceiling cover in places . This may require repairs for the more eye sensitive driver. Otherwise everything seems to be working
Tires. Almost new silent and well tried and trusted brand .
Reason to sell : My kids had those multiple cars and being what they are they out lasted their college education. now they bought new ones and left all 4 vehicles with me. Being undying brands and I needing one they had to be sold . they are for the diesel enthusiast and million Km club readers a very special find. They are priced so low, because I have no place to put them. They ( I have 3 more of the goldene Series VW ) are very good vehicles needing nothing but oil change for care.
