Vehicle description
Selling my 1997 Volkswagen Eurovan Winnebago Camper!
Listed at $18,000.
I am the second owner, and the first owner told me they only used it for road trips. I don’t have their service records or anything, but it’s running smoothly with no check engine light! It could use a little TLC (really just paint I think), but for the price it’s amazing. (These run over $50k in perfect condition.)
I’ve taken great care of it since I’ve had it. Oil changes every 3k miles. No accidents or anything.
Some key points:
-This is the “pop-top” camper, meaning the roof lifts towards the sky to reveal another bed.
-The pop-top canvas is in good condition, which is rare!
-I have both mattresses for the top and bottom beds, also rare.
-The seats are in good condition and I have seat covers on them, which you can have.
-I took the headrests off the back seat but I have them, and two spares.
-I had Volkswagen remove the kitchen to make more space but I have everything (sink, stove, fridge.) I don’t know what works and doesn’t work, but my understanding is most people remove them anyway.
-I have extra little shelves and organizing things for the cabinets. Cabinets are all clean too!
-I had a Yakima Roof Rack and an ARB Awning professionally installed and they are both included! The roof rack’s tracks are invisible if you take the cross bars off. The awning is 8’.
-The cigarette lighter doesn’t seem to work, so to charge phones, etc, I put a power converter in. You can see it on the floor in the front seat area. It has two outlets and two USB chargers. Works great. You can have that too.
I brought this both to my mechanic and to a Volkswagen dealership who fixed everything they could find. I’m not a car guy so I don’t know details. I do have the records, but off the top of my head, I know they worked on or replaced the air pump, water pump, belt, brakes, rotors, tires, spark plugs, hoses, and some leaks. Everything is fixed and it runs well! If you want to bring it to your mechanic and look it over, you’re welcome to do that too.
The van is located in Nanuet, NY. I am willing to drive a little bit though.
