Up for sale is my beautiful 1997 Mercedes C230 (w202) in excellent condition in all aspects (Mechanically/Exterior/Interior). I purchased it a couple years ago on from someone that acquired it from an elderly woman that hadn"t driven it in years, I was looking for a clean W202 at the time and jumped on it right away especially with only 34k miles! Unfortunately for me the car arrived with some undisclosed issues along with some issues that developed quickly, the gauge cluster wasn"t working ( a known issue) only effects the dials NOT the digital portion which is the odometer, the tires were original and dry rotted, the fuel system was having issues, abs and tcs lights went on, speakers were blown and a few other issues. W202 generation C-Class is known to be a very dependable car and Mercedes was really at their peak during this period so all of these issues were mostly due to the car barely being driven for years and years. Fast forward a year or so and all of these issues have been resolved with receipts to show Audio System Updated/Installed ($1600) FuelSystem Overhaul (Tank removed, pump, sending units, filters all replaced) $1300 Headliner Replaced ($730) Gauge cluster was rebuilt and under warranty ($700) Tires replaced and alignment completed ($470) ABS Block and Pump Replaced ($370) PassengerSide Powerlock Assembly Replaced ($330) Purchased new flip key from Mercedes for ($300) Camshaft Position Sensor Replaced ($300) New SparkPlugs ($85) There are a few other things that were repaired or updated but those are the most noteworthy, I will be taking it to Mercedes to have a fresh oil change as well before delivery is taken. There are no issues, the car drives perfect and starts right up even when the temperature is in the single digits. There are a few imperfections on the exterior but considering the car was at one time a daily driver and is now 22 years old I would consider it to be mint inside and out, there is zero rust as well. The sound system installed can be easily reversed and the amp is able to operate without the use of a headunit (why I chose it) there is a small controller below the headunit that can be used and the original head unit can be reinstalled to maintain a complete original appearance. This is a personal sale so obviously there is no warranty and the car is sold as is. Please feel free to send any questions you may have and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
