Vehicle description
1997 M-Edition Miata with just shy of 108K on both the body and original 1.8 motor. Has the factory Torsen LSD in back as well as power steering, AC, and power mirrors. Has tan leather interior with functioning headrest speakers and aftermarket single din head unit. Has an aftermarket soft top in moderately solid condition, only leaks a little if its absolutely pouring down rain. There is some rust on the passenger side rocker panel that has yet to come through the paint.
The car is by no means a show car. She looks great from 5+ feet away, but as you get closer there are a lot of imperfections in the paint including numerous scratches and dents. However, the marina green paint that is there looks fantastic and holds a great shine.
The most major flaws with the car are that the drivers side mirror cowl had broken and made a lot of noise at highway speeds so I removed it. I still have the mirror itself along with a big box of other spare/factory parts that will come included. The emergency brake needs the adjustment done to it, it will not hold as is.
Modification wise it is sitting on tein lowering springs as well as bronze rota grids wrapped in a basic all season. It has an authentic aftermarket Nardi Torino steering wheel. It has a racing beat dual exhaust that sounds great. It has the NGK blue spark plug wires and iridium spark plugs. I have changed the oil twice in the 6K miles I have owned the car (most recently at 107.2K) , and I have changed it with Rotella full synthetic both times with Purolator Pureone filters.
Im sad to see her go, but my situation has changed and I"ve found a MK6 GTI that suits my needs better. It would make a fantastic little drift or track car, but could still continue to be daily-ed as is. If you have any questions let me know.
