I have a licensed mechanic owned 97 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with the 5.9 liter V8 and automatic trans with 180k miles Here’s a quick run down I am a licensed mechanic at a shop here and this truck was towed in because of a bad fuel pump. The owner decided to buy a new Ram and our bought it. We put in a new fuel pump and straps and then replaced the rear diff fluid, transfer case fluid, front diff fluid, power steering fluid, oil change, new thermostat and coolant flush, power steering flush, air filter, and new wiper blades inspected the whole truck suspension and all and I bought it from the shop. It needs a new pitman arm truck has a sway in the front when driving but that’s all it needs. Engine has no knocks or ticks, trans shifts smooth, 4x4 works, it does have some Michigan rust but it’s a truck great for work or off roading or just a good dependable daily driver. Previous owner changed the master cylinder and brake lines and a few other odds and ends that are updated. Great daily fires right up every time has dual exhaust to and sounds mean. Kelly book value listed below along with options of you want to book yourself. Obviously not asking Kelly blue book just showing as an idea for a fair trade.
