With 77,858 original miles, this (2) two-owner Camaro Convertible with the 3.8 V6 gets about 30mpg. These 3.8 engines are known to go 300K with proper maintenance.
In the last six months this Camaro has received the following updates.However, they only have 120 miles on them.
New BF Goodrich 245/50/R/16 Tires mounted on the original 5-star painted wheels.
Complete front and rear suspension rebuild. And I do mean COMPLETE: Upper and lower control arms, new rack and pinion, inner and outer tie-rod ends, New Monroe Struts (with springs), new BMR control arms in rear and panhead bar.
During front suspension rebuild, engine cradle was removed, sandblasted, and powder-coated, as well as a new oil pan, new starter, knock sensors,motor mounts etc., new drilled-slotted rotors, calipers and pads,along with new hub bearing assembly. New brake lines. And newpower steering pump.
During rear suspension rebuild, rear diff. Was rebuilt, new Monroe shocks,brake lines, drums, wheel cylinders (all hardware), brake shoes, and YES, a brand new CARTER fuel pump and tank flush, fuel filter, and a high dollar rear diff. Alum. MOSER cover.
At this time, the 2 piece drive-shaft was rebuilt, trans mount and high-dollar alum. Trans pan (with drain plug). All mounts and body supports were sandblasted and powder coated.
Furthermore,new exhaust from cat. Back with Dynaflow dual exhaust.
In the engine compartment, we have new radiator, thermostat, water pump,all hoses and serp. Belt. New valve cover gaskets, wires,plugs, coil packs, all sensors, rebuilt air compressor, Duracell battery, filters and fluids (synthetic) and more.
Interior: The complete interior including carpet was removed and professionally cleaned. It has new Factory SLP floor mats. Almost perfect. DASH is NOT CRACKED like most Camaros as it has been garaged and still is.
Now,the top. Yes, it is the factory top and is in superb condition with heated back real glass.
Just for your information, this is one of six cars made in this color combo. Never wrecked and has the original paint as well. The pictures do not do this beauty justice. More pictures are available after we speak.
