Up for sale is my 1996 volvo 850 2.3L turbo wagon with an automatic transmission with just over 99k miles. This is currently my daily driver and the miles will increase. Interior condition: The seats are in good shape besides a small wear spot on the drivers side bolster. The carpets are in ok shape with a few wear spots on the drivers side floor. The headliner is starting to fall at the windshield, right in front of the sun visors, no stains or tears. Dash has no cracks or scratches. The center console and dash surround is scratch free and has no cracks. The center arm rest latch is broken, but stays closed with no problem. It does have its typical volvo wagon creeks and rattles. The pics show an in dash screen, the car will be sold with the original radio. Exterior condition: The car was repainted last year in the original color. Original car was rust free on the body panels and under the car. No accidents in the past besides a small dent in the front right fender, it has been fixed before the paint. Paint is in very good shape with rock chips on the front bumper (shown in pics). There are a few door dings, but nothing noticeable unless pointed out( I couldn"t get a pic of them, too small) The car comes with new 17" wheels and new tires with less than 5k miles. Windows have 35% tint on front windows, and 15% tint on rear windows. exterior looks very nice, but it is not perfect or showroom new, it is 22 years old after all. Mechanical condition: Car runs perfect with no issues at all. There have been many things replaced listed below and should not need any scheduled maintenance for many more miles. The car is lowered on IPD lowering springs and rides fairly rough, don"t expect a stock ride with this setup. I have only used full synthetic oil and premium fuel during my ownership. There is no smoke on startup, after idling, or on acceleration. There are no unusual shakes or rattles. Items replaced within the last year/10k miles, I have all receipts to prove. These 2.3L 5cyl cars will go 300k miles with only basic maintenance, no problem. If you are looking for an extremely reliable car that is different than everything on the road, this wagon is for you. The car is 22 years old, so don"t expect a new car, and there is extra care and attention that comes with its age. The car gets thumbs up and comments all the time. Its also nice that you can throw just about anything into the back with the massive cargo area. There is absolutely nothing the car needs, I drive it daily and wouldn"t hesitate to drive it across the country This is most likely the nicest 850 wagon in the Midwest, no rust, new paint, perfect mechanical condition, and low miles.
