She is a 1986 Westfalia Camper. We used it many times when we bought it on ebay 15 years ago. Our youngest was two years old and we took her down from LA all the way to Cabo Pulmo in one of the most wonderful trips of our lifes. Then she moved to Mexico with us, then to Texas and in between we made many wonderful trips.
We put half a new engine into her like 8 years ago (10,000 miles ago) and the engine runs very well. She has a bunch of other issues which are easily seen in the pictures but the main one is that heat keeps coming out from the front vents. The tent needs to be changed. Gearbox works great. Easy fixes for someone that really wants to use her.
So we set a high starting price because we are not auctioning her. We want to find a great buyer. Ideally it would be a couple that wants to go and drive her all across the country and beyond and that would enjoy her as much as we have enjoyed her. She likes being enjoyed you know. Give us an offer and tell us who you are and your plans.
So write us about your plans of where you will take her, what commitment you have to do so and just how much fun you will have with her. That will be so much more important than the price.
