Garage kept and regular maintenance performed in house by this meticulous non-smoking owner. Mechanical components kept current at various VW shops, timing belt and other belts, ECU, clutch, bearings, shocks, CV axles, exhaust parts, etc. Upgraded radio for CD, AUX, USB, and ear bud jacks. Permanently fixed front window issues common to this vehicle. Although it has 234K miles the engine still runs perfectly and has >100K miles to go. It still gets 45 mpg and with the +18.5 gallon tank gets over 900 miles per tank when touring.
