For sale is my 1996 Lexus LX450 (FZJ80) with approximately 143,200 miles. The car has recently had a thousands of dollars worth of service. Please see service summary below. Please read details below. Video walk around of running vehicle taken in anticipation of the sale:
The good: · No known oil leaks (replaced very expensive rear main seal/retainer and oil pump gasket) · Head gasket work has been done, as well as many other common issues · Pretty new BF Goodrich all-terrains (~5k miles) · Reupholstered front seats · Low miles (~7k miles/year) What needs to be addressed: · Parking brake does not work. Per mechanic this is related to the parking brake bellcrank being seized on one side. · Check engine light is on and code is related to O2 sensor. · AC does not blow cold. I recently had it recharged but stopped working. The mechanic says Freon is still full, so there may be some other issue with the system. · Antenna does not go up/down · Drivers power seat does not go back and forth (but sale includes Gamiviti replacement gear) · As you’ll note in the pictures, the undercarriage has some rust (it was covered with bed-liner). The sides steps also have some rust but those are removable. Please message me if you need more photos - I"ll do my best. Cosmetically it’s OK but here are some issues that are notable
