This XJ is a project. It does run and will drive although the serpentine belt is not connected. It can be driven onto a trailer for transport. All the carpet and seats have been removed except driver seat, but all the seats are included in the sale. I received this jeep from a friend before they were going to donate it. It lived up in northern,ca most its life. I had high hopes of building an off road Toy, But I just haven"t had much time to work on it. I do know it needs a new header pipe exhaust muffler and exhaust end pipe. My buddy said it always passed smog with no problems. I priced all the exhaust pieces out on Morris 4x4 center for around 1,000.00 without tax. It could be less if you buy stock exhaust. It has a Dana front diff and a Chrysler 8.25 rear diff I"m pretty sure, but not positive on the rear diff. It also has the high output engine and the 4x4 low and high work great. I don"t have time to finish it up so there will not be a smog certificate included in the sale. I start the jeep up ounce a week for no more then 30 seconds or so. It also needs a temperature sensor, they don"t cost much. Hopefully it goes to a good home Where it will be built and used as intended. Extra parts included in sale.
