For sale is a beautiful 1996 Ford F-350 XL 4x4. This is a crew cab long bed pickup equipped with the highly desired Dana 60 solid front axle. The truck is equipped with a 5.8 liter 351 V8 mated to a 4 speed automatic transmission and a 4.10 rear. This truck has plenty of life left with 157,615 miles on the odometer. The interior of this F-350 shows well. The rubber flooring material is not cracked or deteriorated anywhere. The driver"s side of the front bench seat has some seam separations beneath the seat cover. The rear bench seat has some minor cracking on the driver"s side as shown, but is completely intact otherwise. The dash is free of any fading or cracking in the plastic and there is just one tiny split in the vinyl pad as shown. All of the gauges are working and the A/C blows cold. The headliner has not come loose anywhere. An aftermarket Kenwood CD radio has been installed, but no modifications have been made to the dash to accommodate it. It is also bluetooth capable with handsfree calling.
The exterior of this truck looks beautiful. The paint is completely intact without any peeling or cracking clear coat. This is an accident free truck per the CarFax report and has very even body lines and panel gaps throughout. This truck does have its fair share of small dings, fine scratches and paint chips typical of the age and mileage, but no major damage otherwise. Please view all of the detailed photos below for clarification of these areas. The doors open and close with ease and do not sag. The bed is in incredible condition showing very light use over this truck"s lifetime and is equipped with a brand new gooseneck hitch.
The undercarriage of this F-350 is very dry and is completely rust free aside from some surface rust on the frame and suspension components. The rockers, cab corners, door bottoms, floor pans and bed floor are rock solid without any scaling or corrosion. The outer door bottoms are very nice without any excessive chipping or bubbling.
This F-350 runs and drives well and has excellent power. The factory exhaust manifolds remain on the truck with the addition of a new muffler and resonator. The original catalytic converter has been removed. The truck is fitted with a set of very nice 17" wheels in black powder coat wrapped in a set of near new 285/70/17 Toyo Open Country All Terrain tires. The truck also has a newer set of shocks a seen in the photos below.
