1996 E-250 4x4 Quigley Ambulance. It is located in Grand Island NE
This was originally built for Frazer Colorado Land and Air, it was professionally built by Quigley with a Dana 60 front Axle, 1356 transfer case.
The project has begun to turn it into a camper overlander.
I just rebuilt the transmission, painted the outside, new tires, and started to remodel the inside.
The inside was very rough. I repaneled the walls and installed a new floor.
I removed the ambulance light bar and installed a more modern version. The outside scene lights will light a camsite awesome and came be controlled left right and rear and the new light bar turns on with the original light bar toggle.
The best thing about making this a camper is all the storage inside and out.
The powerstroke 7.3 turbo diesel speaks for itself, with a fresh E4OD transmission behind I would drive this any where. It has 178,000 miles. It cruises at 75 mph without a problem and has lots of power to tow a trailer. A/c blows super cold and I"ve never touched it.
It needs finished, like a bed and some electrical. It has 2 new batteries, but I wanted to add more batteries and battery isolaters to use just the back when camping and not risk running the main batteries down. I have a large inverter that Im including also, as the one in it doesn"t work.
