This truck was to help my brother get started in the tree business but he got a work offer he couldn"t pass up so its up for sale! We have been thru this truck with a fine tooth comb. I have owned many of these Cummins and know them inside and out. I would not have put so much into this truck if I had not planned on keeping it around! This is a great truck! I have a twin to this truck in my tree service business that I have been using for eight years and I absolutely love it! Being a work truck the only things I did not service were the a/c, power locks, and cruise. Every thing else performs great. We had the head machine checked. We went thru the transmission and transfer case and inspected and replaced as necessary. New 10 ply rubber New fab four bumper New Head lights New battery cables New park brake cables New brakes New head lights New tool boxes, (huge)
I have a twin to this truck and my empty weight is around 10k and fully loaded with a chipper I max out around 22k, still well under cdl. With the light weight, wider tires, 4x4, and Cummins raw torque and dependability make a great performing truck. Very turf friendly with off-road performance to get into places where heavier trucks can"t compete. This isn"t a new truck but it may perform as good or better than some of the new ones. Please don"t nit pick it. If you want a new truck it may not be for you. I like trucks that perform and mine has been amazing.
