Vehicle description
A 1996 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport with the 330 hp LT4 engine, Z-51 handling package and less than 45,000 miles! I"ve had a few Corvettes over the years. My first was a 1969 T-top. (In fact my very first car.) It"s only fitting my last is this 1996 Grand Sport. This "Vette is the best of the C4"s (I"ve had two others, an "84 and a "93 ZR-1.) I"ve owned it since 2017. Need to move and will not have the garage space any longer. When I got it it had after market rotors and shocks. I"ve returned it to factory rotors and Z51 Bilstein shocks. And a set of Nitto NT05 (were new in the pictures.) At times it didn"t run well. I replaced the Optispark (upgraded unit), wires and plugs. It dripped oil from the pan gasket. Replaced the gasket and the oil pump since it was apart. When in neutral with the clutch out just idling, the transmission seems noisy to me. There is no noise in any gear while shifting and driving. When I had all the work done I asked about it and they didn"t think it was abnormal. I had them replace the transmission gear oil anyway. It looked normal. Everything works perfectly so it may just be me. Had a radiator leak at the plastic end cap (common issue), replaced the radiator with a two row DeWitts (needed during Texas summers). The sun visors were in bad shape (common issue). It took over a year to get replacements. The original visors are included. I purchased a full set of repair manuals. They are included. When I got it, there was only one set of original keys. I purchased a second set and fob. There are two pictures of the odometer, the first (43,768) is when I took the pictures after all the work was done, the second (44,535) is current. Less than a thousand miles in four years! The inspection and registration is current (January 2021). The pictures you see below are large "thumbnails". Click on any picture for a VERY large image.
