96 Chevy Cheyenne 1500 Series 1/2 Ton 5.0 L Vortec V-8 Extended Cab
The truck runs great. Mechanically sound. Cruise control. Power steering. New radiator. Michelin LTX M/S2 tires installed at 181,607 miles. 70,000 mile tire warranty. Air conditioning. Stereo/cassette player. Power brakes. Automatic 4-speed transmission. Steering wheel airbag. Manual windows, locks, and seats. 2 wheel drive. Mileage is 210,076. Short bed, 6 foot. Maroon fabric seats inside. There is a 12" x 7" damage in seat fabric on driver"s side. There is a windshield crack on passenger side, located on the outer part of windshield. It should pass inspection because of where the crack is. Air conditioning needs a charge. A few cosmetic fixes and you should have a really nice truck.
Being a mechanic, I purchased this truck realizing it had been wrecked. I had the frame straightened professionally. On left rear side of frame, I cut off wrecked 18" piece and welded a new piece on frame. I put another bed on frame. I replaced rear bumper. I put 4 new U-bolts on rear differential to spring. No mechanical work was needed.
